Deep Sea Pearls

Made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Quilters' Guild. Pearl divers find their gems on the sea bed, this piece is all about these deep sea pearls - luscious and iridescent against a background of turquoise sea. Angelina and dyed silk fibres have been trapped by stitch. The quilt has been densely machine quilted and finished with painted trapunto pearls and hand beading.
